The Environmental Engineering Program with BEE and CEE is accredited.

 We are pleased to announce that Interim Dean of the College of Engineering, Chris Ober, received a letter from ABET (dated 12 August 2009) on 28 August 2009 that states the joint Environmental Engineering Program with BEE and CEE is accredited.   The letter states the Environmental Engineering (BS) is accredited from 1 May 2007 to 30 September 2011.   The end date puts the Environmental Engineering (BS) program in synch with the accreditation process for all other engineering fields seeking ABET accreditation.

This is the result of a significant effort of the faculty in both BEE and CEE.  Leadership in this process was provided by Professor Mike Walter with many others playing significant roles in the development and implementation of this program.
