Three CEE Faculty members Recognized with COE Teaching and Advising Awards

Professor Earls, CEE Director Phil Liu, Professor Jenkins and Professor Warner

Professors Chris Earls, James Jenkins and Derek Warner were recognized this month by receiving College of Engineering Teaching and Advising Awards. Professor Earls received the James and Mary Tien Excellence in Teaching Award. The award winner is selected by colleagues from the professor's department and from the College of Engineering. Professor Jenkins received the James M. and Marsha D. McCormick Award for Outstanding Advising of First-Year Engineering Students. This is the highest award for advising in the college and recipients are nominated by students from the College. Professor Warner received the Daniel M. Lazar '29 Excellence in Teaching Award. This is the highest award for teaching in the college and recipients are nominated by colleagues.
We congratulate each one of them and are proud of their commitment to students as shown through their dedication to excellence in teaching and advising.
