CEE faculty member Derek Warner selected to attend 2013 NAE Frontiers Symposium
CEE faculty member, Derek Warner was selected to participate in the National Academy of Engineering's 2013 US Frontiers of Engineering Symposium. The symposium will be held from November 21-23 at the Dolce Chantilly Hotel and Conference Center in Chantilly, France. Warner was selected along with 60 other outstanding engineers under the age of 45 from industries, universities, and government labs.
This activity is organized by NAE and the European Council of Applied Sciences and Engineering. Since 1995, the NAE has held an annual Frontiers of Engineering symposium that brings together engineers (ages 30-45) from US companies, universities, and government labs to discuss leading-edge research and technical work across a range of engineering fields.
During the 2.5 days of the symposium, four sessions — Nanosensors, Big Data, The Future of Transportation, and Wireless Broadband — will be covered. To see a full list of sessions and speakers, click here. To visit the Frontiers website, click here.
