I grew up outside of Boston, MA. I obtained my B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY where I worked in a water chemistry lab. I was investigating the effects of local green infrastructure on water quantity and quality. Here at Cornell, I am completing my M.S. and Ph.D. in environmental processes with Dr. Damian Helbling. I am interested in the biotransformation of trace organic contaminants (e.g. pharmaceuticals and pesticides) through biofiltration processes.
