Stedinger given 2014 Chi Epsilon Award
CEE Professor Jery Stedinger has been honored with the 2014 Professor of the Year Award by the Cornell University Chapter of Chi Epsilon. Stedinger, who has been teaching at Cornell Engineering since 1977, was cited for “his service to the students in our department with consistent dedication and sacrifice.”
In announcing the award, CEE Department Director Philip Liu noted Stedinger’s “countless hours with students and staff members spent planning and executing” this year’s ASCE conference at Cornell. Liu went on to note, “Our students have gained valuable practical experiences by organizing this conference.” Stedinger was also given the 2014 ACSE Ven Te Chow Award and named a Distinguished Member of the ASCE in 2013.
