Nozick reappointed to nuke waste board

Systems Engineering Professor Linda Nozick has been reappointed to the Nuclear Waste Technical Review Board by President Barack Obama.

Nozick has directed the Systems Engineering program since 2009 and is a professor in cilvil and environmental engineering at Cornell. She has served as a member of the Nuclear Waste Technical Review Board since 2011. Prior to this, she served at Cornell University as associate professor of civil and environmental engineering from 1998 to 2004 and assistant professor of civil and environmental engineering from 1992 to 1998. She served on two NRC-National Academy of Engineering panels to assist the Department of Energy on the renewal of its infrastructure from 2002 to 2004 and from 2006 to 2008.

Nozick received a B.S. from George Washington University and an M.S.E and Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
