Richardson wins Tucker Teaching Award
CEE Associate Professor Ruth Richardson has been selected by the College of Engineering to receive the Mr. and Mrs. Richard F. Tucker teaching award for 2014. Richardson joined the faculty at Cornell in 2002 and has won the Excellence in Advising Award three times. This is the first time she has won The Tucker Teaching Award.
In addition to her excellent classroom teaching, Dr. Richardson has served as the faculty advisor to the Engineers for a Sustainable World student group and the Women's Soccer club. In addition to serving as the project supervisor for a service learning project (the ESW Biofuels team) she has also advised several undergraduate students in independent research each semester.
