CEE Alumnus James J. O'Brien elected to the NAE

James J. O'Brien (CEE class of 1951) was recently elected to the National Academy of Engineering this year. Members are elected to NAE membership by their peers (current NAE members). Election to National Academy of Engineering membership is one of the highest professional honors accorded an engineer.

The citation for his award is "For Development of Standards of Practice for Computerized Scheduling of Construction Projects and Capital Programs"
