CEE faculty member Pat Reed selected to attend 2013 NAE Frontiers Symposium
Recently hired faculty member, Patrick Reed was selected to participate in the National Academy of Engineering's 2013 US Frontiers of Engineering Symposium. The symposium will be held from September 19-21 at the DuPont Hotel in Wilmington, Delaware. Reed was selected along with 100 other outstanding engineers under the age of 45 from industries, universities, and government labs. The goal of the Frontiers of Engineering program is to bring together engineers from all engineering disciplines to facilitate cross-disciplinary exchange and promote the transfer of new techniques and approaches across fields in order to sustain and build U.S. innovative capacity.
The symposium will consist of four formal sessions including: Designing and Analyzing Societal Networks, Cognitive Manufacturing, Energy: Reducing Our Dependence on Fossil Fuels, and Flexible Electronics. A list of sessions can be found here.
