Julianne Quinn ’17 places third in Philadelphia Marathon

Quinn is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Reed Group.

Julianne Quinn, PhD ’17, placed third in the AACR Philadelphia Marathon on November 19, 2017, with a time of 2 hours, 42 minutes, and 14 seconds. This record also qualified her for the 2020 Olympic Trials (the standard is 2:45).

Quinn is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Reed Group. Her research interests include water resources planning and management under uncertainty, multi-objective optimization and control, and stochastic streamflow and weather generation.

 Founded in 1954, the Philadelphia marathon is an annual sporting event hosted by the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the third Sunday of November each year.
