aMust take one additional basic science course.  This course may simultaneously satisfy another requirement such as advisor approved elective.  Courses meeting that requirement are:  BIOG 1440, BIOEE 1610, BIOMG 1350, EAS 1540, 2200, 3030, 3410, 3420, and 3530.

bMay substitute CHEM 2080 or CHEM 1570 for PHYS 2214.

cStudents taking BEE 2510, ENGRD 3200 or CEE 3040 as the 2nd distribution course must take an additional Major-approved elective.

dENGRD 2030 (S) may be taken in the second year; CEE 4780  (S) should not be taken until the third or fourth year. Note that MATH 2940 is a co-requisite for CEE 4780.

eENGRD 3200 (S) may be taken in semesters 4 or 6

fENGRD 2700 may be accepted (by petition) to substitute for CEE 3040 if taken prior to affiliation in the Major or if necessary because of scheduling conflicts.

gIf the technical communication requirement is met with a course that fulfills another requirement, then and additional advisor approved elective is required.
